Damien graduated as a Dental Surgeon from Newcastle University in 2001 with a Distinction in Children’s Dentistry and a Merit in Clinical Dentistry. He then completed his training in Sunderland before joining Blyth Family Dental Practice (formerly Vine Williamson and Hall Family Dental Practice) in 2002. 

Damien became a partner in the Marine Terrace Practice in 2010 before going on to become Principal Dental Surgeon in 2018.  Damien has a wealth of experience in providing both NHS and Private Dentistry to his patients, having a special interest in managing nervous patients and children. He holds a Diploma in Conscious Sedation which he gained from Newcastle University in 2007, enabling him to confidently provide sedation if and when it is required. 

Damien also sits on the Local Dental Committee for Northumberland and is actively involved in helping to manage local dental issues. Out of work Damien has a young family to keep him busy and is a keen competitive swimmer.
